Warning fire and solidarity fire throughout Europe on September 30th, 2022 “Europe of wolves or Europe of grazing animals? Does grazing still have a home in Europe?”   

Dear Sir or Madam,   

the Association for the Promotion of German Sheep Farming e. V. (FDS), the associations and the citizens' initiatives of the Action Alliance for Active Wolf Management ask you to take part in the Europe-wide campaign "Reminder and solidarity fire" for the limited spread of wolves!  This Europe-wide campaign is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 30th, 2022 and will start at 7 p.m.  Since the number of wolves is not only increasing in Germany, they are increasingly becoming a serious threat to the entire rural area and to the continued existence of farms with species-appropriate grazing animal husbandry throughout Europe.  Fences, shepherds and livestock protection dogs are neither affordable nor a practicable alternative in a densely populated cultural landscape with recreational athletes, those seeking relaxation and tourism! That's why we want to set a clear signal for the entire rural area with our warning and solidarity fires! Let's make it clear to politicians all over Europe what we want and offer space for discussion!  If you have the opportunity, please organize such an event!   It is about sending a signal to all state governments, federal politicians and the EU.   We are also calling on the regions that have not been affected to show solidarity - because at some point it will be their turn too. Everyone who wants to change something should participate or support their colleagues.  Please let us know if you would like to organize such an event. We create a   map showing all locations.
